Halo Laser Before and After

Seeing Is Believing | Before & After Photos of the HALO Laser

Halo laser before and after

Are you looking for ways to improve your skin? If so, you’re probably no stranger to before and after photos. While these photos can provide great insights into what to expect from a treatment or product, they can also be very misleading.

We’ve all seen the before & after photos that quite obviously show an entirely different person between the two images. This, along with advancements in editing software and AI tools, has made it nearly impossible to know what to believe. How do you know if you’re looking at real results or if the photos have been doctored?

At Blush Aesthetics, we’re making it easy to find the right treatment for you. As a med spa in Perrysburg, we value honest and transparent practices in every part of our work. Part of this is taking real, unedited before and after photos of all our treatments.

We want you to love your results—and that’s only going to happen if you’re set up with realistic expectations. In this blog, our skincare experts discuss how we handle photos and share some of our favorite HALO laser before and after images.

How We Take Before and Afters

For accurate and realistic before and after photos, it’s important to take pictures with consistent lighting, angles, and conditions. To standardize this process, we use the VISIA system to take our photos.

VISIA is an advanced technology that analyzes the health of your skin. It can see everything that’s going on beneath the surface, and it is one of the tools we use to make treatment recommendations and track your progress.

But VISIA isn’t only just for analysis. We also use this technology to provide consistent lighting and positioning for high-quality before and after images. All the pictures you’ll see in this blog were taken with the VISIA system.

HALO Laser

The HALO laser is one of our most popular lasers. It uses a combination of ablative and non-ablative wavelengths to penetrate deep into the skin while simultaneously addressing concerns on the skin’s surface.

By stimulating the body’s natural healing response, the HALO laser increases collagen production for a healthy and youthful glow. At Blush Aesthetics, we customize every HALO laser treatment in Perrysburg to meet the unique needs of your skin.

The HALO laser can treat a variety of concerns, including:

  • Sun spots and sun damage
  • Fine lines and wrinkles
  • Scars
  • Facial redness
  • Enlarged pores
  • Small veins
  • Uneven skin tone and texture

HALO Laser Before and After

Ready to see the incredible results that the HALO laser can offer? We think you’ll be just as amazed as we are by what this treatment can accomplish. Let’s take a look at 4 patients and see how the treatment improved each of their skin concerns!

These results are all after just one HALO treatment. 😱

Patient #1: Overall Improvement in Skin Health & Appearance

When this patient came to Blush, we knew the HALO laser would be the best way to improve her overall complexion, and it did not disappoint!

Looking between the photos, you’ll notice that the treatment helped to:

  • Reduce the appearance of brown spots and sun damage
  • Reduce facial redness on the nose, cheeks, and forehead
  • Achieve smoother skin
  • Give the skin a radiant glow
  • Reduce the appearance of fine lines
  • Improve volume and tightness of the skin
  • Reduce the appearance of freckles and pigmentation
  • Achieve a more even tone and complexion

Patient #2: Reduced Pigmentation

Let’s take a close-up look at our next patient. When this patient came to Blush, she wanted to reduce the appearance of sunspots that had developed on her forehead. Check out how HALO erased those unwanted spots!

In addition to the significant improvement in pigmentation, you’ll also notice that the patient in this HALO laser before and after achieved:

  • Smoother skin
  • A more even tone and texture
  • A radiant glow

If you are interested in brown spot removal in Toledo, the HALO laser is one of our go-to treatments. If you are looking for more ways to reduce the appearance of sunspots, Blush Aesthetics offers an entire selection of treatments that target pigmentation, including:

Patient #3: Reduced Redness and Hyperpigmentation

Our next patient came to Blush with concerns of facial redness and hyperpigmentation. The HALO laser is great at targeting blood vessels (the underlying cause of redness). Check out how HALO significantly reduced redness across her complexion!

Along with reducing redness, you can see how the treatment improved her overall skin tone by:

  • Reducing brown spots and areas of hyperpigmentation
  • Reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles
  • Giving her smoother and more evenly textured skin
  • Shrinking enlarged pores
  • Giving tighter, more youthful skin

Patient #4 Reduced Redness

Talk about results that speak for themselves! This patient was looking for a treatment to reduce redness and improve her overall complexion, and HALO was the perfect choice!

This is one of our favorite HALO laser before and after photos because it shows how powerful just one treatment can be! Besides drastically improving the redness on the patient’s cheeks, nose, and chin, you’ll also notice that the treatment helped to:

  • Shrink enlarged pores
  • Reduce brown spots and hyperpigmentation
  • Give the skin a smoother and healthier look
  • Even out skin tone and overall complexion

If you’re ready to kick redness to the curb, combining the HALO laser with a BBL photofacial can offer enhanced results. Unlike a laser, BBL uses light energy to target and destroy unwanted aspects of the skin.

For example, BBL can target broken blood vessels that cause redness, break up melanin that causes pigmentation, and destroy bacteria that causes acne. Learn more about BBL →

What to Expect Before & After Your HALO Laser Treatment

Ready to try the HALO laser for yourself? Here’s what you can expect from your HALO laser—before and after the procedure!

Your Consultation

If you’re interested in a HALO treatment, the first step in the process is to have a consultation with one of our skincare experts. At this consultation, we will assess your skin, discuss your goals, and determine if you are a good candidate for a HALO treatment.

If you have any questions about the laser or our process at Blush Aesthetics, a consultation gives us time to answer questions and address concerns you may have. At your consultation, we will also take your “before” photos! This gives us a baseline and allows us to track your progress over time.

Your Prep

To ensure the best results, it’s important to prepare in the weeks leading up to your treatment by:

  • Avoiding sun exposure (and tanning beds) two weeks prior to treatment
  • Discontinuing retinol products one week before your treatment
  • Avoiding Aspirin, Ibuprofen, and fish oil in the week before your treatment
  • Arrive to your appointment with a clean face and no makeup on

We may have additional recommendations for your prep based on your current skincare routine, medical history, and the current medications you take. We will go over your full pre- and post-care routine (along with everything else you can expect from the process) during your consultation!

After Your HALO Laser

The HALO laser doesn’t have extensive downtime like some of the other lasers; however, we do recommend that you take a day or two off to ensure your skin stays fully protected from any external factors.

It’s normal to experience swelling and redness in the days after your treatment. Using ice packs in the 48 hours after your treatment can help relieve swelling. If you have any questions after your treatment, don’t hesitate to give us a call! We are always happy to help.

Results

You can expect to see positive changes in your skin within 2 to 5 days of your treatment as your skin heals. The full effect will be noticeable within 2 to 3 weeks after your treatment, and even after that your skin will continue to improve! Collagen takes time to work, so you can expect your skin to get better and better in the months after your treatment.
